What areas do the home maintenance providers service?

SHP serves Houston and the greater metro-plex. When you search within a particular provider category (i.e. carpet cleaning) you simply enter your zip code and the appropriate list (with direct extensions) will appear.

Our boundaries are ever expanding so if you are not having any luck finding someone in your area use LIVE HELP and we will do our best to connect you with the right company.

What happens next?

When you call a provider you TELL THEM SchoolHouse Partners sent you and what school you want to designate. As soon as you hear from a provider and/or they do work on your home we encourage you write brief comments on their “Report Cards.” Your comments will influence a provider’s grade, and we work diligently to only have grade A providers.

How do schools earn money?

Schools receive 20% of what SchoolHouse Partners earns from referral fees paid by the home maintenance provider.  To ensure your school receives your designation you must be a member.

Is there a membership fee?

No, SchoolHouse Partners is a FREE SERVICE for members.

How do I become a member?

It’s simple. Go to the top of the home page,  select, Step 1 | Become A Member and provide the requested information.

If I am a registered user, how can I update my membership information?

You can click on the link “STEP 1 | BECOME A MEMBER ” tab and then select “ACCOUNT UPDATE”. Is SHP a non-profit organization?

SHP is a for-profit company with giving as a core business principle.
SHP has a long term commitment to schools, education and the opportunity to help families fix their homes AND fund schools.

What does the pre-screening process entail?

If we told you we would have to….no, not really, but then again, even CocaCola has its’ secrets. Right off the bat, we require that all of our providers are licensed and that they carry insurance.  We conduct face to face interviews, check references, speak to past and current customers. We pretty much do everything you would do if you had the time!

Do you have a list of participating schools and non-profits ?

When you register to become a member you will see a pull down menu of schools (and non-profits) that are currently enrolled in our program.

How can I promote SchoolHouse Partners at my child’s school?

Schools are not required to enroll and any school (or non-profit) can be designated. Formal enrollment helps to increase earnings. We suggest that schools,

  1. Include the SchoolHouse Partners’ website link and logo on their website.
  2. Send home or email SHP's quarterly flyer reminding parents to participate.
  3. Support the program through FaceBook, Tweets, printed announcements, bulletin boards, and emails that are sent to parents and supporters.
  4. Promote the SchoolHouse Partners program on school marquis or other prominent location on campus.

The above steps require very little time and can make a big difference.  Please contact us and request the SHP logo file and quarterly flyers. Certainly call us if you have ideas or questions. We are here to help.
